Another World
Volume 1
Another World is a collectible travel quarterly about how we see the world, and how we see ourselves in it.
Each issue will feature ten stories animated by our fascination with culture and identity as seen through the lens of travel — with the stories we tell ourselves about who we are in the world, the stories we tell ourselves about the people and places we encounter out there, and a consideration of where those stories come from. Volume I features a story with Nobel prize winner Orhan Pamuk in Istanbul, and with the bush pilots of Namibia, along with road trips through Iraq and into Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, as well as stories set in the Sicilian islands, in Tangier, Hong Kong, a pilgrimage to Jorge Luis Borges’s Buenos Aires, and an homage to the Barcelona of Michelangelo Antonioni’s film The Passenger, plus much more.
